Robbie Long
- Label Director / Artist

Robbie Long is one of Hardcores main players both in the U.K. and on the international stage.  Inspired by his early love of Hip-Hop and Electro, he started Djing when he was just 14. A couple of years later and Robbie Long began playing Hardcore in the Clubs / Raves, before he was legally old enough to get in them!

His first big break was at The Empire Club (now The Mud Club) in Bognor Regis shortly followed by Interdance at the legendary Sterns in Worthing.

In 1993, he started getting bookings in the Midlands and up north and it was clear that Robbie Long wasn’t going to be just another local jock.

When Robbie hooked up with Devastate an awesome studio / production partnership was formed, helping to mould the early sounds of labels Next Generation Records and Blatant Beats.

In the mix, Robbie goes in hard with his immense technical ability, matched by few on the circuit. He has always made a conscious effort to sound different to his colleagues, attempting to push the boundaries and offer an alternative sound. Music production enabled him to concentrate on and develop his own style.

After a few years in the making, Robbie started TNC in 2003 as an outlet for his own creativity. Since then he has cultivated a tight knit crew of artists, DJ’s and producers who have collectively invented TNC’s own unique style in the genre of UK Hardcore.

Robbie Long’s dedication to the music and scene he loves was recognised in 2005 when he was asked to mix a CD on the TV advertised Nukleuz / Warners compilation Hardcore Nation. Three volumes down the line, the series sold in excess of 150,000 units in the UK alone.

Today Robbie hits the studio week in week out, working on remixes and original material and with over 17 years experience in front of a crowd, his DJ diary is busier than ever. In the U.K he spins up and down the country every weekend and internationally he regularly visits countries like Australia, America, Germany and Spain, making him a globally celebrated force in the world of underground dance music.
